Weekend & Holiday Server

 

Job Summary

We are looking for skilled servers to take orders and deliver food and beverages to our customers. Our customer service is something we take great pride in. These positions will require working in shifts, and mostly on weekends and holidays. 

 

Responsibilities & Skills

  • Be positive and professional

  • Interact with customers in a friendly way so they want to return

  • Present a cheerful and welcoming attitude; be attentive and patient with customers

  • Be able to work well in a fast-paced environment

  • Work well in a team

  • Have strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • Be flexible to work in shifts as needed, especially on weekends and holidays

  • Meet with the Chef for detailed information about the menu (specials, portions, ingredients, and potential food allergens)

  • Prepare tables by setting up placemats, flatware, and glasses; maintain an appealing dining area

  • Greet customers

  • Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (portions, ingredients, and potential food allergens)

  • Inform customers about specials; offer menu recommendations

  • Take accurate food and drink orders using slips or memorization

  • Check customer’s IDs to ensure minimum age requirements for consumption of alcohol beverages

  • Communicate order details to kitchen staff

  • Serve food and drink orders

  • Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems

  • Deliver checks to customers and use square for payments

  • Be comfortable with technology

  • Carry dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to kitchen for cleaning
